Thank you very much everyone who came to my solo comedy show yesterday. It ended up being one the most fun and challenging gigs ever - fighting against mic issues and drunk hecklers, forgetting some jokes, throwing away bunch of material, doing the maximum amount of improvisation I’ve ever done in my comedy life, losing and winning the crowd back again and again.

Recently, I did my first solo stand-up comedy show. I worried more not about forgetting the material, but my ability to hold the audience attention for an hour. Once you lose them, it’s tough to get them back. Don’t ask me how much painful empirical research went into this statement.
